Legal Notice

Arkansas Rehabilitation Services, a section of the Division of Workforce Services, provides notice that amendments to the rules for the Telecommunications Access Program and Forgiveness of Student Loans Program are available for public comment.  The amendments are posted at https://arcareered.org/publicreview.  

The public comment period begins on September 24, 2021, at 8:00 a.m., and ends on October 25, 2021, at 4:30 p.m.  Comments may be submitted to Charles Lyford, General Counsel, P.O. Box 3871, Little Rock, AR 72203, or [email protected]

Final Rules, summary of financial impact, summary of comments, and our responses. 

The Division of Services for the Blind did not receive any public comments on the proposed rules. The rules proposed effective date is 6/11/21. The agency does not foresee any additional costs for consumers or the agency based on the proposed rules. The financial impact of these rules is maintained in the continued operating costs of the agency.

The Office of Skills Development (OSD) has proposed revising Rules for Arkansas Secondary Technical Centers, regarding additional flexibility for the use of Vocational Center Aid and the proposed capping of carry-over balances at 20% of secondary center revenue from the previous year.
